What Are The Main Components Of Industrial Chillers?

Water circulation system: the water circulation system is a system in which the water is pumped from the water tank to the user's cooling equipment by the water pump. The temperature of the chilled water rises after the heat is taken away, and then returns to the chilled water tank. Industrial water chiller components:

Compressor: compressor is the core component of the whole refrigeration system, and also the power source of refrigerant compression. It is called "the heart of industrial chiller". Its function is to convert the input electric energy into mechanical energy and compress the refrigerant.

Refrigerant: most industrial chillers used in modern industry use refrigerant. Refrigerant is the mobile working fluid in the refrigeration system. Its main function is to carry heat and realize heat absorption and release when the state changes.

Evaporator: evaporator is a kind of heat exchange equipment which absorbs the heat of cooling medium by evaporation (boiling) of refrigerant liquid. Its function in refrigeration system is to absorb heat (or output cold capacity). In order to ensure that the evaporation process can be stable and lasting, we must continue to use the refrigeration compressor to extract the evaporated gas to maintain a certain evaporation pressure.

Condenser: in the refrigeration process, the condenser outputs heat energy and condenses the refrigerant. After the high-pressure superheated steam discharged from the refrigeration compressor enters the condenser, all the heat absorbed in the working process, including the heat absorbed from the evaporator and the refrigeration compressor and in the pipeline, is transferred to the surrounding medium and taken away. The high-pressure superheated steam of the refrigerant recondenses into liquid.

Electrical automatic control system: electrical automatic control system includes power supply part and automatic control part. The power supply part supplies power to compressor, fan and water pump through contactor. The automatic control part includes temperature controller, pressure protection, time delayer, relay, overload protection and so on, which can automatically start and stop according to the water temperature, protect and so on.

Refrigerant circulation system: the liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat in the water and begins to evaporate. After it becomes gaseous, it is inhaled and compressed by the compressor, and then transported to the condenser. The high temperature and pressure gaseous refrigerant releases heat through the condenser and condenses into liquid. After throttling and reducing pressure by the thermal expansion valve, it becomes low temperature and low pressure refrigerant and enters the evaporator again to absorb the heat in the water, A cycle of refrigerant is completed. In this way, the refrigerant circulates and continuously takes away the heat in the water, so as to achieve the purpose of cooling water.

Reservoir: the reservoir is installed after the condenser and is directly connected with the discharge pipe of the condenser. The refrigerant liquid of the condenser should flow into the liquid reservoir smoothly, so that the cooling area of the condenser can be fully utilized. On the other hand, when the heat load of the evaporator changes, the demand of refrigerant liquid also changes. At that time, the liquid reservoir plays the role of regulating and storing refrigerant. For the small refrigeration system, the condenser is often used to adjust and store the refrigerant instead of the liquid reservoir. 

Dry filter: in the refrigeration cycle of industrial water chiller, it is necessary to prevent the entry of moisture and dirt. The main source of moisture is the micro moisture contained in newly added refrigerant and lubricating oil, or the moisture brought by the air entering the maintenance system. If the water in the system is not removed completely, when the refrigerant passes through the throttle valve, due to the drop of pressure and temperature, sometimes the water will solidify into ice, blocking the channel and affecting the normal operation of the refrigeration device. Therefore, the drying filter must be installed in the refrigeration system. 

Thermal expansion valve: the thermal expansion valve is not only the flow control valve in the refrigeration system of industrial water chiller, but also the throttle valve in the refrigeration equipment. It is installed between the drying filter and the evaporator in the refrigeration equipment, and its temperature sensing package is wrapped at the outlet of the evaporator. Its main function is to make the refrigerant liquid with high pressure and normal temperature flow and depressurize when it flows through the thermal expansion valve, and turn into low temperature and low pressure refrigerant wet vapor (mostly liquid, a small part of steam) to enter the evaporator, vaporize and absorb heat in the evaporator, so as to achieve the purpose of refrigeration and cooling.
