There are two problems that should be clear: an installed capacity unit is not equal to energy consumption; second, the efficiency and energy consumption of units operating under full load and part load are different.
Full load, air-conditioning cold water temperature higher than the water-cooled condensing units, air-cooled chillers pressure larger place of power machine, but the whole summer air-conditioning load distribution is extremely unbalanced, even in an hour, daily load also varies greatly, according to the unit's maximum load operation time is very limited. Therefore, it is obviously inappropriate to take the installed capacity equipment (or the input power at full load) as the basis of annual comparison of power consumption.
The condensing temperature of air-cooled chiller depends on the outdoor dry bulb temperature, while that of water-cooled chiller and condensing temperature depends on the outdoor wet bulb temperature. On a single day, the outdoor air dry bulb temperature is much higher than the wet bulb temperature. In southern China, the daytime temperature in summer is generally 8-10 ℃ every day, and even as high as 15- 16 ℃ in more arid areas. The variation of wet bulb temperature in a day is very small (only about 1 / 5 of dry bulb temperature). In this way, the temperature of the water-cooled condensing unit is almost constant in one day, while the outdoor dry bulb temperature of the air-cooled unit will drop down. It is obviously incorrect to say that the air-cooled unit must be superior to the high condensation temperature water-cooled unit by 5-10 ℃ and that the resulting air-cooled unit must be superior to the water-cooled unit.
