The manufacturers who have bought chillers all know that they have to install chillers at home after they have bought them. The merchants will not install chillers at home. They usually provide technical guidance.
During installation, please check whether the machine is damaged and select the appropriate place for installation and future maintenance.
The installation site of the unit must be floor, installation pad or foundation, with its levelness within 6.4mm, and can bear the operating weight of the unit.
The unit should be placed in the room temperature of 4.4 ~ 43.3 ℃, and there should be enough space around and above the unit for routine maintenance.
At one end of the unit, the space for cleaning the condenser tube bundle should be reserved, and the door opening or other appropriate hole can also be used.
Select the water pipe with proper pipe diameter, cooling system and cold water system when the unit operates at maximum power, and connect them correctly.
For ordinary applications, the water flow velocity through evaporator and condenser is allowed to be between 1.0-3.6m/s.
The water flow should be stable under any load condition.
All chilled water and cooling water pipes shall be designed and installed according to the conventional method. The chilled water pump shall be located on the water inlet pipe of the unit to ensure the positive pressure and flow in the unit. When the evaporator is shut down, the flexible piping should be set to prevent the water pump from being drained.
The piping shall be firmly supported independent of the chiller to avoid stress on the chiller components. The setting of hanger shall be convenient for pipe alignment.
In order to reduce noise and vibration, it is better to install vibration isolator on the pipeline.
In order to increase the operation cost of condenser and evaporator, experts suggest that the water quality of condenser and evaporator will be affected by corrosion and fouling.
Generally speaking, proper water treatment and regular cleaning of the tube bundle can maintain its good performance. If the existing water quality conditions can not be improved by appropriate methods, it is necessary to allow the tube bundle to have a larger fouling factor or specify special structural materials.
Please install a filter at the inlet of the water pipe and clean it regularly.
After leakage test, all nozzles must be antirust treated.
In order to facilitate daily maintenance work, users can adopt some (or all) of the following measures:
The pressure gauge and stop valve with cock can be installed on the inlet and outlet pipes of cooling water and chilled water, close to the chiller as far as possible;
Hanging rails and beams can be erected above the equipment to facilitate maintenance.
