4. According to the type of refrigeration compressor: there are piston type industrial chiller, screw type industrial chiller and centrifugal industrial chiller.

The condenser is the part where the high pressure refrigerant changes from hot gas to subcooled liquid, and it rejects the heat absorbed by the refrigerant. The first few lines of the condenser will superheat and cool the high temperature gas in the exhaust pipe.

Once the condenser exhausts the heat of the superheated steam and reaches saturation temperature, these gases will reach 100% saturated vapor, at which point the refrigerant will begin to change its state from saturated vapor to liquid. After the refrigerant is cooled to 100% liquid, the refrigerant liquid will begin to subcool at the end of the condenser.

The evaporator is the part where the low pressure low temperature refrigerant absorbs heat from the cooled medium (water/glycol liquid).

Clean the condenser

Cleaning the cooling circulating water system

The chiller must be equipped with a cooling water tower and a water pump to provide cooling circulating water. Algae and impurities are prone to appear in the water tower. Because it needs to be cleaned regularly, it is also necessary to install a filter at the water source.


Check the refrigeration oil of the compressor

The refrigeration oil mainly plays the functions of lubrication, sealing, cooling and energy regulation. If there is a shortage, it needs to be replenished and replaced in time.


Check whether the fasteners of the unit are loose

Properly tighten each fastener to eliminate vibration and prevent leakage.


Check the electrical system of the unit

Check the circuit system of the unit, test whether the power supply is normal, lack of phase, whether the operating current is temperature, and whether the control circuit device is loose and aging.


Check the refrigeration compressor of the chiller

Check the refrigeration compressor of the chiller, and do an insulation test for the motor coil of the compressor.


Check filter drier, expansion valve

Check the filter drier and whether the expansion valve is normally blocked or not, and need to be replaced if necessary.


Check refrigerant quantity
