1. Industrial Chiller Units

2. Precautions for Used chillers

  Before using industrial chiller units, please read carefully and fully understand the following precautions for use.

  (1)Be sure to connect the ground wire of the machine to the ground terminal.

  (2)The power supply must use the specified voltage

  (3)The power cord must use the specified product. Once used improperly, it will cause overheating or voltage drop, and as a result, accidents and failures will occur.

  (4)The installation of the hose should be carried out according to the instructions of the hose manufacturer, especially the regulations on the minimum bending radius must be observed. For the connection of the attached hose, please refer to the appendix Hose Essentials.

  (5)Please do not touch the control panel with wet hands, otherwise it may cause electric shock.

  (6)Maintenance technicians carry out regular inspections or repairs.

  When repairing, maintaining, or opening the electric control box on other occasions, and when disassembling and cleaning the machine, be sure to turn off the power first.

  (7)All hoses and valves used to connect to the outside of the device should be checked regularly. Replace hoses and valves if necessary. Pay special attention to the deterioration and breakage of soft hoses. In addition, if any abnormality occurs, do not use the device until the parts are replaced.


3. Feature

  Water-cooled / air-cooled chillers are the most widely used and most mature industrial chiller units today.

  The water cooling unit produced by RICOM Company adopts scroll compressor as the main head. Compared with the early reciprocating compreser-cooled water chiller introduced by RICOM uses LCD liquid crystal display microcomputer control and LED digital tube display microcomputer control. The use of a world-leading microcomputer controller and professionally developed control software makes the unit easier to operate, more precise and stable, and safer to operate.


4. Main structure and function

  Main parts structure: compressor, condenser, evaporator, filter drier,

  Frozen water stainless steel water tank, frozen water pump, electric control box and other components


5. Installation and setting

  (1)Inspection upon receipt

  This machine was shipped after quality and performance inspection, but unexpected accidents may occur during transportation,

  Or the machine may be damaged due to other reasons. Pay special attention to the following parts.

  Check for external damage.

  Check whether the screws and nuts of each part are loosened.

  (2) About installation, wiring, and piping

  A. Install this machine within 5 meters of the molding machine.

  There are air vents on the sides and upper part of the machine (depending on the model), so please do not place it close to the wall or other machines.

  Because if the ventilation port is closed, normal temperature adjustment cannot be performed, and it may cause malfunction.

  B. The following places cannot be placed:

  a. Places with dust, moisture and vibration

  b. Places with open flame equipment

  c. Places where flammable gas leaks easily

  d. Places with corrosive gas

  e. Where there is no solid foundation


6. Precautions for long-term non-use

  (1)When the chiller is in winter or encounters a long holiday, and the air conditioning unit does not need to be started, the power supply of the main unit should be cut off to prevent other accidents.

  (2)When the water chiller is not used for a long time in winter, the water in the air conditioning system should be drained to prevent the water from freezing during low winter temperatures (below 0 ° C) and damaging the condenser and evaporator.
