1. Energy conditions
For the regions with low price and abundant power resources, the use of compressed chillers can show the advantages of high performance coefficient and small volume under the same cooling capacity. For the areas with high electricity consumption and high price, but the steam supply or gas (oil) supply is sufficient and the price is stable, especially in the areas with waste steam, the use of model cooling machine can show the advantages of low temperature requirements for heat source, low power consumption and environmental protection for absorption units.
2. Water source and water quality conditions
Water source and water quality determine the type of condenser in industrial water chillers. If water source is abundant and water price is appropriate, water-cooled chillers should be used, otherwise, air-cooled chillers should be used. The advantage of using water-cooled chiller is that the condensing temperature of refrigeration system is low, the high pressure of refrigeration system is low, so the compressor has good working conditions and high coefficient of performance. The disadvantage is the need for a cooling water system, high initial investment. In areas with abundant water sources but poor water quality, one is to recycle after water treatment, the other is to use air-cooled chillers. The advantages of air-cooled industrial water chiller and cold and hot water chiller are that the cooling system of condenser is simple and complex cooling water system is omitted; The air-cooled chiller and hot water unit can supply cooling in summer and heating in winter, achieving the purpose of dual-use; But in winter, if the cold and hot water unit is used for heating, the evaporator is prone to frosting when the unit is in heating operation, so it needs to be shut down regularly for defrosting, which affects the operation of the unit; Secondly, when the cold and hot water units work in low temperature areas in winter, due to the lack of heating capacity, other auxiliary heating measures need to be adopted.
