How the refrigeration circuit works
The refrigerant passes through the compressor, is compressed into high temperature and high pressure gas, and then passes through the condenser to become liquid, and its heat is taken away by the condenser. After that, the liquid refrigerant enters the expansion valve and becomes low temperature and low pressure.
After the gas expands, it enters the evaporator, absorbs the heat of the cooling medium (water, oil, etc.), and then returns to the compressor. The cycle repeats until the desired chilled water temperature is reached. Compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator are four indispensable components in chiller.
Other important components
Pressure switch to alert when refrigerant pressure is not within safe limits
Level switch/flow switch to alert when there is not enough water in the tank (or pipe)
Accumulator to prevent non-liquefied refrigerant from entering the expansion valve to ensure refrigeration performance
Manual valve to shut off the refrigerant circuit during maintenance
Dry filter to prevent moisture or impurities from running in the system
Low/high water temperature limit, when the water temperature is not within the safe working range of the alarm, protect the cooling object and the chiller itself
Features of air cooled scroll chiller:
1. The compressor of the unit adopts a scroll type fully enclosed compressor and electronic control components, and is equipped with a condenser and an evaporator made of high-quality copper tubes with high heat exchange efficiency.
2. Equipped with various safety protection devices, with stable performance, low noise, long service life and simple operation; using liquid crystal display man-machine interface, the operation is simple and convenient, and the operating status is clear at a glance.
3. The model adopts single compressor or multi-compressor combined refrigeration system. The compressors can operate alternately automatically according to the load changes, balancing the operating hours of each compressor, saving energy and prolonging the service life of the chiller. Facilitate energy regulation, more energy saving at partial load.
4. The shell of the whole machine has a box-type structure, with beautiful appearance and compact structure, and the operation of the unit can be checked at any time; the unit can have its own water tank and circulating water pump according to the cooling capacity, without cooling tower and cooling water pump, and the installation and maintenance are simple and convenient.
